Welcome to haa!

Did you enjoy the Arts Fresco last September? Wondering what's happening in and around Harborough the rest of the year? Well haa! is here to help you.

What's haa! for?   Who's haa! for?

haa! aims to list all arts events within about ten miles of Market Harborough. This means that any venues in the following towns – or in any of the many villages nearer to Harborough – should keep haa!  informed of forthcoming performances and events:
  • Blaby
  • Corby
  • Daventry
  • Hinckley
  • Luttterworth
  • Melton Mowbray
  • Nuneaton
  • Oadby
  • Oakham
  • Peterborough
  • Rugby
  • Stamford
  • Uppingham
  • Wellingborough
  • Wigston
For venues in Leicester, Northampton, Coventry, Warwick and other towns and cities up to about fifity miles away haa!  will include a link to your Web site but not include event-by-event listings.

More importantly haa!  wants to list all local arts groups and classes (and that includes all art forms – visual, literary, 3D, dance, music, theatre, storytelling, video, new media or whatever) that are taking place in Harborough and the surrounding villages. Even if your group is nearer to the towns listed than to Harborough then still let us know when you planning an exhibition or other event.

haa!  also includes links to organisations with information on grants, relevant training, competitions, exhibition opportunities and such like.

News and 'boasts'

Have you won an award? Got a grant? Had an amazing review? Done anything that you want to share with the readers of haa! ? Then don't be shy, let me have details of who, what, where – and maybe even how and why. Send a photo of the event or of your artwork too if you can to Bob Trubshaw at haa@indigogroup.co.uk with your file (total 2Mbytes files maximum please otherwise you will overload by inbox).
