Medieval life in and around AveburyThese articles articles deal with life in and around Avebury during the twelfth to sixteenth centuries. My understanding of this period is limited to knowing about a few specific aspects in depth but not a lot about all the rest! So there is no attempt to offer an overview or anything approaching a complete understanding. Instead, I have written about topics which, for a variety of reasons, I have researched or pondered. If they offer food for thought, or otherwise inspire other people to publish more detailed or more comprehensive accounts, then they have served their purpose. If you just want a 'taster' then I suggest starting with skew passages.
